ComeBack! is a research project carried out at Dresden University of Technology. It is an adapter tool for generating an adaptation layer in between software components for retaining backward compatibility. More information is given in this description. Tool Architecture
The following figure shows the architecture of the tool we are developing here at SourceForge.net. Note that "language-dependent" and "language-independent" relates to the implementation, not the concepts.
